Dear Mr. Herlea,Imagine this: When I first heard you, I was just starting out my career (lyric mezzo soprano) living in Brooklyn, New York.
I had grabbed a tape and a walkman and decided in the middle of 100 degree heat of the summer to do a power walk. There was a steep hill that I had to climb on this power walk and I was dreading it as usual. Right as I got to the middle of the hill I heard your glorious Si puo. I just stopped and stood there and listened to it. When you got to the huge climax of the song (A flat?) I thought my heart was going to pound right out of my body! Seriously! I must have played that tape over and over again until it was literally finally worn to shreds.
You are amazing! What a gift your voice is - and the way you use it to express!
You will forever be my favorite singer, Mr. Herlea, and I will never forget that first time hearing you!

Wonderful to learn of you Mr. Herlea. There is no doubt that you are one of the greatest voices ever. I could listen to your heroic high notes all day. In all my listening, I never heard another baritone who could match them. I recently obtained the signed copy of your Arias CD and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to it. If only I could get my hands on some of the LPs...... live long and prosper Maestro.

dark voice and incredible high notes..What is his secret ??!! Does he give
lessons or master class ??
